About CRUST DEPT.

We don't need to prove anything.
But if we did, it’d be in a warm drawer.

CRUSTDEPT. is a streetwear project born from flaky pastries, lunch break banter, and a deep love for UK bakery culture.

The CRUSTDEPT. Story

The Origins

This all started as a bit of a side quest. I work in digital marketing for an Agency in Wigan. Just trying to level up my Shopify skills on my lunch breaks—just building a store to see what I could learn. No big vision. No brand plan. Just vibes.

Then one day, I walked into Pound Bakery wearing a Greggs tee. Big mistake. The staff were on me like icing on a Belgian bun.

“WOAH, What are you doing wearing that in here?!”

It was pure pastry banter, but it stuck with me. Why was I wearing a Greggs tee? And more importantly—why didn’t Pound Bakery have one?

That was the moment.

Greggs has merch. Greggs has clout. But your local bakery? The one you actually eat at? Nothing. No tees. No caps. No crust pride.

That felt wrong.

I’ve always been into streetwear, into visual culture, into stuff that speaks for where you’re from. So I figured, screw it—I'll do it myself.

A brand that reps the crust. That gives a nod to bakery culture, but serves it up with the attitude of a limited drop.

Now here we are.

What We Stand For

Local over hype. Always.

We shout out the unsung heroes of the UK’s high streets.

Wear what makes you hungry.

Streetwear should say something—even if it’s "I love pies."

Made-to-order only.

The best goods are baked fresh. No overproduction. No waste.

Frequently asked Crust-ions

Is this a joke brand?

No.
It’s funny—but it’s serious.
I just like a good sausage roll.

Are you affiliated with Greggs or other bakeries?

Nope. We're not officially linked with any bakery chains—just big fans of flaky goods and local legends. This is fan-made fashion with crumbs on its chest.

Do you restock sold-out items?

Not usually. Most drops are limited runs and made to order, so once they’re gone, they’re gone. We might remix a graphic if the streets demand it, but nothing’s guaranteed.

How do I wash my CRUSTDEPT. pieces?

Low and slow—like a proper bake.
Wash inside out, cold cycle, no tumble dry. It keeps the print fresh and the crust crisp.
More care tips are on each product page.

How long will it take to get my order?

Every piece is baked-to-order (literally made once you buy it), so give us a bit of time.

You’ll usually get your order in 7–14 working days, depending on your location.

Good crust takes time.

How much does shipping cost?

Nothing extra—delivery’s baked in.

We include the cost of shipping in the product price, so what you see is what you pay. No last-minute surprises at checkout, no dodgy fees. Just one clean price and a short wait while your gear’s made-to-order and shipped fresh.

It’s how we keep things simple—and crusty.
